Becoming a Charity Partner

At the Bodie Hodges Foundation, we pride ourselves in working closely with businesses in a mutually beneficial way. We like to build relationships with businesses who share the same values as we hold and who can help us to grow our presence nationally and locally. We hope that we can help your business through our use of social media, the connections that we already have with other businesses, as well as through sponsorship opportunities. We work in partnership with other organisations to ensure that we are able to fully support families who are bereaved of a child. 2019 saw us win VAL award for County Charity of the Year and we would love for you to be part of our growing charity.

What our partners say about us…

Smallman & Son Ltd is proud to have worked with the Bodie Hodges Foundation for a number of years. We have supported a variety of their projects including Bodie’s With Love Project and Bodie’s Treasured Memory Bags. We have also worked together to host events at their boathouse to raise awareness of their inspirational work; something that is very close to our hearts as a family business.

I believe the way in which Nick and Donna have taken the tragic loss of Bodie and focused their energies on helping others in similar circumstances is truly inspirational. At WJ we pride ourselves on being a family business with a commitment to thinking about the communities in which we operate. For the foundation to grow from an idea born out of tragedy requires commitment and dedication that few people would be able to give. Nick and Donna have dedicated the memory of their son to helping others not just in the locality but nationally and WJ are proud to have been just a small part of their story

Following an introduction to the Bodie Hodges Foundation at one of the sports dinners we were keen to find out more about how we could help. Through personal experience we appreciate the importance of organ donation and how being better informed about the process can transform and save lives and provide some solace to those who’ve lost loved ones. It is an honour to be able to support the organ donation programme with a clever link to our business and the industry we work in as organ donation is the ultimate form of recycling.

We pride ourselves at building mutually beneficial relationships with the businesses and people that we work with.
We would love you to join Team Bodie and support the work that we do

Dear Donna, Nick and the Bodie Team,

As we come to the end of a fantastic year of working together, we wanted to write to you and say how amazing its been for us having you as our Charity of the Year 2019.
Not only do you blow us away with the work that you do to promote organ donation and assist in the bereavement process for parents and families who have lost a child, you are all also incredible to work with, are professional in every way and organise some amazing events to raise money for the Charity.

As part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility it has been extremely important for us to partner with a local Charity and having worked with The Bodie Hodges Foundation for the past several years it was a real no-brainer to choose The Bodie Hodges foundation as our Charity of the Year.

We truly hope that the money you have saved on the equipment we have supplied for your events and of course the money Tara raised by taking part in the Great North Run goes a long way towards the running of the Boathouse and the employment of your bereavement counsellor and the memory boxes.

We look forward to a long lasting relationship between B Audio Visual and The Bodie Hodges Foundation.

Kind regards

Tara and Jonathan Bailiss
